First of all, thank you so much for visiting my website! I’m Mr. S (I prefer to stay anonymous for now), a guy who failed many times but kept holding on to a little bit of hope, waiting for a miracle. Now, let me share the story behind this website.
The Story
Two years ago, when I was working as a designer, I spent hours searching for inspiration for my projects but could only find a few references. One day, I started saving illustrations and design ideas in a personal Figma file. Over time, my collection grew, and my friends began using it for their projects too.
A few months later, I thought, Why not create a website to share all these inspirations? My friends loved the idea, and we began planning. But due to work commitments and financial challenges, we had to pause the project.
A year later, I picked it up again but faced the same issues—lack of resources, developers, and money—so I dropped it again. In 2023, I decided to take things seriously. I used my savings to buy a domain and hosting, learned no-code platforms, and launched the website. But soon, I faced technical issues, and the project failed again.
In 2024, I started learning Framer during weekends. By November, I began building the website from scratch, exploring templates, learning about CMS, and getting advice from the Framer community. After months of effort and spending all my savings again, I finally launched getillustra.com in December. Now, I’m posting designs consistently and hoping this time it works.
